data requirements for print and engravings
To achieve ideal results and schedules please submit data for print and engravings as follows:
engravings
scaleable vector graphics (.svg, .ai, .eps, .pdf)
individual naming (different name on each pair of sticks)
font (please provide the font-file in case of exotic font types) + list of names per .csv or .xls
pad print and colored engravings
scaleable vector graphics (.svg, .ai, .eps, .pdf), color as Pantone (PMS) code
packaging print data
ready-to-print pdf/x-file, CMYK-colors, texts converted to lines, photo data with 300 dpi+, 3 mm bleed, including
lead times
If you need your chopsticks to delivered by a specific date please let us know already in the inquiry. We will then propose only options which we can safely deliver on time. Our inventory is usually well stocked: most projects can be delivered within 2-3 weeks, but the actual leadtime may depend on the order quantity and the time of order.

China, Japan, Korea... which chopsticks are suitable?
Many of our clients have a special relation to Asia: like a Japanese native group, a new flight destination in China or the anniversary of a Korean branch office. We will be very happy to advise you which chopsticks are suitable for your project.
For China-Projects you can use all of our sticks which are made of wood, bamboo or PPS, but we would not recommend metal chopsticks.
For clients with japanese background we can recommend our ironwood-chopsticks, painted chopsticks or PPS-chopsticks. Natural colors or black are always a good choice, colorful chopsticks can be suitable too depending on the CI-design. White chopsticks or stainless chopsticks are not the best idea for Japan.
In Korea people like metal-chopsticks, but also wooden sticks or bamboo chopsticks are ok to be used.
Do you create also the designs?
Usually we are receiving data ready for production which we are fitting into the chopsticks respectively onto the packaging. Prior production we are sending you a visual proof for confirmation. If needed we are happy to assist in creating the designs.
